Everything You Wanted
Debut album by Toronto band Mother Tongues
Everything You Wanted is the debut release by Toronto psychedelic rock band Mother Tongues. I was an early member of the group and participated throughout the album’s writing, rehearsal, recording, and production process, performing guitar and contributing to the collaborative development of its songs and arrangements.
The album was recorded at Marquee Sound in Toronto and released in 2020. Its music combines psychedelic rock with elements of dream pop, experimental music, and synthesizer-driven production.
Collaborative Process
The songs were developed collectively through rehearsals, arrangement experiments, and studio production. My contributions included guitar performance, collaborative writing and arranging, and participation in the recording and production process. The finished release reflects the work of the full band and its production collaborators.
